Consciousness.
Some of the philosophy of consciousness has been described; it
is the living experience of a person, each unique. For now I can
only put that position forward without evidence. In the course
of development of the site and supporting papers I will show I
how came to such a view. However, in part it is implicit in the
distinction between a variable and its value. We can create the
variables but only ever measure their values as best we can.
To say that consciousness is then a product or an epi-phenomenon
is to make assumptions about something manifest and the mechanism
whereby it is manifest. And since these questions have not been
addressed, judgements of this nature must be withheld.
